Three watches, three reasons to look closer
Milifortic’s catalogue becomes more interesting when you move between styles. The M096 offers a restrained pilot layout; the S089 adds a sunburst dial and an internal compass bezel; the R088 replaces the usual hour hand with a jumping numeral. Those differences matter more than a blanket claim that one watch is the brand’s best.
We selected these three from models prominently listed on the Milifortic homepage. This review combines current specifications, attributed wearer feedback and our buying analysis. Pickora has not worn these watches or measured accuracy, lume duration or water resistance. The cover arranges official product photographs; all other watch images are also supplied by Milifortic.
M096: the straightforward everyday option

The M096 is worth examining if you want a watch that works visually with a plain shirt, denim or a casual jacket. Large numerals keep the face uncluttered, while the red seconds hand adds a small accent. Its pilot styling is explicitly sold as a homage, so originality is a weaker reason to choose it than the layout itself.
The current specification lists a 39mm steel case, roughly 11.8mm thickness including the crystal, sapphire with anti-reflective coating and an ST2130 automatic movement. These are manufacturer specifications, rather than our measurements.
A first-impressions reviewer praised the case finish and leather strap, while finding the inside lug tips slightly sharp and the original dark hand surrounds less clear than desired. That reviewer disclosed receiving the watch free and using affiliate links. The reviewed unit used an NH38 movement: it is historical experience with a different configuration, not a test of today’s ST2130 listing.
Our takeaway is to check the exact hand treatment, movement and strap in the order confirmation. A specification sheet cannot settle how clearly you read the hands in your own lighting. An older review should not silently become evidence for a revised watch.
S089: the more expressive sports design

The S089 makes a stronger visual statement. Its green sunburst face, applied markers and additional scale give it more detail than the M096. That may appeal if you enjoy a watch as an accessory, although a busier dial is less suitable if simple reading is your priority.
Milifortic’s listing gives a 39.5mm case and 46mm lug-to-lug span. It offers NH35 and ST2130 variants, with stated thicknesses of 11.4mm and 10.8mm respectively, including glass. We have not assessed the internal compass bezel as a navigation instrument.
One wearer’s initial impressions described the rubber strap as comfortable but changed it to leather because of a personal preference for its appearance and feel. That is a useful ownership detail: a strap can change whether a sports-inspired dial feels right with everyday clothing. It remains one person’s account, not a consensus or a durability finding.
Shortlist the S089 when the dial is the attraction. Confirm the movement and colour combination first, then include any replacement strap in your budget. Photographs alone cannot settle how the colour will look under your indoor lighting.
R088: a different way to read the hour

Manufacturer photograph. Source: Milifortic R088.
The R088 has the most distinctive display here: an hour window, central minute hand and small seconds subdial. Its attraction is the change in reading habit. The hour becomes a numeral to read, rather than a hand position to recognize.
The manufacturer lists an ST17t automatic movement, 38mm case, 46mm lug-to-lug span and approximately 11mm overall thickness including the glass. It specifies sapphire with anti-reflective coating and no lume. The latter makes it less appropriate if reading the time in darkness matters.
In the listing’s customer comments, NH_Horology describes a comfortable, small-wearing watch with a plain strap and readable daytime display. These seller-hosted comments have selection and verification limits; they do not establish our own comfort judgment. They suggest what to assess on arrival: strap fit, hour-window visibility and whether the display feels natural after a few days.
Choose this direction for visual interest and dressier use. Prefer a conventional dial if you want a familiar reading pattern. We have not verified the jump mechanism’s long-term reliability or servicing cost.
What to confirm before ordering
Compare exact variants rather than just model names. Ask for confirmation of the M096 movement and the S089 movement/colour combination. The maker lists a two-year limited warranty on these product pages; check its scope and return terms, including international return shipping.
We are not quoting a fixed price: the catalogue feed and retrieved product-page displays differed for some configurations. Check the selected variant, checkout currency, shipping and any tax or import charges for your destination. A starting price is not necessarily the delivered price in the US, UK or EU.
All three affiliate buttons open the supplied Milifortic store link. Select M096, S089 or R088 after arriving; these buttons do not preselect a product or guarantee stock.
Which would we shortlist?
Start with the M096 for a restrained pilot look, the S089 for a detailed sports dial, or the R088 for an unusual dress-watch display. These are design-led editorial choices. Decide from exact configuration, fit and purchase terms, rather than an unsupported accuracy or quality ranking.
Questions & answers
Has Pickora personally worn these three watches?
No. This review uses official specifications and attributed wearer feedback. It does not claim firsthand testing, measured accuracy or verified water resistance.
Does the M096 always use the same movement?
Do not assume so. An older reviewed unit used NH38, while the current product specification lists ST2130. Confirm the movement of the exact variant before ordering.
Where do the affiliate buttons lead?
All three open the Milifortic store homepage in a new tab. Choose the model and configuration there; these links do not preselect a watch.
